After having been in quarantine for one day, Harry was taken to the psychiatric institution in Apeldoorn. In a report about him, dated December 16th, 1938 the following is said about Harry: He is still unbalanced and occasionally very sad: sometimes out of control, becomes aggressive and refuses food. The boy is still malnourished and requires medical-psychiatric treatment. Some improvement was noticeable, but inclusion in a large colony context was undesirable: family nursing is recommended. The father is staying in Dachau concentration camp, the mother has died.
